<aside> 💡 TLDR: When creating an offer for a candidate that has already had an offer retracted or declined you can choose to use the existing offer as a template

How it works

When creating an offer for the candidate you will see a new option at the top of the form that allows the user to choose the previous offer to use.

The option to select an existing offer will only appear if an offer has been previously sent.

Selecting a previous offer should fill all of the details, the offer letter and the email (including custom fields) that were completed for the previous offer, but the user still has the ability to change any of those fields before sending.

Why should you care?

Usually when an offer is retracted or rejected and it needs to be subsequently resent, the changes to the actual offer will be fairly minimal (changing the salary or start date are common). In this case the user will not want to have to recreate the offer in it’s entirety as it wastes time and can lead to errors. This functionality should increase the speed with which offers can be amended and resent.
