How it works

When creating a new question on a job, the talent pipeline or a template question you can select number as the response type.

When selecting number we expect the applicant to provide a number is response.

Why should you care?

It allows users to ask questions they expect a number in response to (e.g. what is your expected salary) and instead of having to deal with random freetext responses have a number which is easier for reporting purposes when expecting via custom reports.

<aside> 💡 Important note: If a client wants to ask candidates for expected salary we would strongly recommend using a multiple choice question and inputting salary bands for them to choose between. Doing it this way allows users to more easily filter candidates
