<aside> 💡 TLDR: If the company has multiple languages enabled you are now able to add additional languages to the job template. Because of the way our translation system works we create the job using the additional languages which can then be updating afterwards.

How it works

When editing a job template, you can switch the language and fill in details for the other languages enabled for that company

When using a multi-lingual template to create a job you will be presented with a message that tells you we will automatically create the job with the other language sections applied.

This is due a limitation in our current multi-lingual system which means that everything has to be created in English first, and can then be updated afterwards. So when using a template that has a French job description, you can edit the English description after applying the template, but it order to edit the French you would need to edit the job.

Why should you care?

Initially the descriptive parts of the job description were left out of the job templates because in theory the description, title etc. change a lot from job to job. We have seen that larger companies make a lot more use of the job templates including using template descriptions and especially benefits. Some of our larger clients actually only want jobs created using templates, so this change should benefit larger process driven clients more than the smaller clients who post fewer more varied jobs.
