TLDR: Clients can enforce that a maximum headcount is applied to every job created within the platform. This is already the case when using requisitions so this only applies to clients creating jobs without first creating requisitions.

How it works

Users with the company manager permission can turn on the setting under company preferences.

Once this is turned on users will be unable to create new jobs without setting a maximum headcount. Companies who have this setting turned on will also see that ‘Enable maximum headcount’ is turned on by default when creating new jobs

Why should you care?

Requisitions are mainly used by our larger clients who needs plenty of process in their hiring process. For the smaller clients it can be overkill. Previously though you couldn’t enforce the use of headcount which means that jobs don’t automatically become filled when someone is hired. This new options gives clients the option to enforce the headcount and avoid people having to manually close jobs when hiring is complete.
