How it works

When viewing the job, or the application themselves a user has the option of exporting the application(s) as PDF’s

When you choose export you are presented with options of what you would like to include in the generated documents. You can include personal details, answers, scorecards, comments and the resume.

Note: If you just choose CV we will just include the CV document in the export.

The PDF documents are created when the user exports the applicants. This means that all data on the generated PDF should be up to date at the time of the export.

Once the generation is complete the user will receive an email with a link to download a zip file which contains all of the documents

Why should you care?

It’s a common request that users want to be able to download the application as a PDF, there are two main use cases that we hear for this

  1. To share the application with a user outside of Pinpoint
  2. To keep a record of the application in case of an audit

We are also regularly asked if it’s possible to download the application CV’s in bulk, which is possible if you export to PDF and then only choose the CV from the list of options.
